Melinda is a Naturopath, Author, Reiki Healer, Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Spiritual Coach.
With over two decades in health and wellness, Melinda has created a wellness centre, four books, multiple online programs and membership programs to support those who know there’s something more to life than the daily grind.
Her latest passion is fictional tales exploring the mystical world that we sense but don’t necessarily understand.

Why did you write a mystical fiction tale?
This book came to be from a series of failed attempts to write a ‘how to love life’ survival guide. For two years I tried to write a self-help book that encapsulated all I’ve learnt so far about the beauty, pain, and purpose of life. Most of this book is based on true events and stories.
I’ve had such an incredible time putting pen to paper, letting my heart flow onto the empty screen until I came up with something that represented my soul. A story that shared my philosophy. A tale that showed you, how perfect you are, just the way you are.
This book was intended to uplift and inspire.
Is it true that many of the stories and life lessons in the book are based on true events?
A lot of the experiences the characters have in the book are based on my own experiences, I almost split myself into two characters. I was inspired by a few family members and friends for other characters, bringing about a cast of everyday people experiencing less than everyday phenomenon. Albeit, the less than everyday element is exclusively due to us not always paying attention to the miracles around us.
